plastics are great, i would recomend to anyone, people seem to bag the clear ones for their lack of longjevity, but i find them great and i pedal stall and grind and theyve lasted me alot longer than i thought they would! there only made of plastic and their cheap give them a shot their like 20 buks from you lbs, and being made of plastic wat do u expect? the longest lasting strongest pedal, their only real down side is if you have shoes with a very smooth sole and ur pedlas are wet chances are your feet will slip for the first few times, and u get used to riding it like that its no issue, and no its coming into summer its not big deal... wow this post is epic enough to fit into the review your parts thread!
hope it helped mate
